Nurse Wants to Increase Recruitment of NBA Players for Canada’s Team

No, we’re not talking about medicine here, but Nick Nurse, who has been doing everything he could to be the best head coach of the NBA championship team, Toronto Raptors, and lead the team behind his belt. He does believe though that he can do more when it comes to making the Canada basketball team much better.

In the recent interviews, he states that he’s learning to getting more relationships with better and tougher athletes, as well as get more on the level of his own team because that way he can see what he’s going to do with them.

There isn’t much known about Canadian basketball, but it’s actually been in the spotlight in the most recent months. Canada ended up finally qualifying for the World Cup and then the Raptors actually grabbed Larry O’Brien to the team with a humongous powerhouse team.

Many humongous NBA players, as well as international professionals in the NBA industry were all invited, but nobody showed up except for the sports celebrities Cory Joseph and Khem Birch. This actually made it even harder on the team.

So what’s the strategy? Well, according to Canada Basketball’s CEO, they’re going to get one on one with every single player, as every one of them have their own gifts to offer to the game. They’re going to have to do some bartering to find out what’s going on in their careers as well as their home lives, and learn how they can get in a better fit with each one of them to provide the right amount of balance.
