Two Ottawa companies are teaming up to help managed service providers fight spam remotely, with the announcement of an alliance between Roaring Penguin Software Inc. and N-able Technologies.
Roaring Penguin said it will be integrating its Linux-based CanIt line of anti-spam solutions with N-able's N-Central software, which allows managed service providers to offer remote monitoring and management services for small and medium-sized businesses.
"We've found that more of our customers are demanding remote monitoring of the health of their anti-spam servers," stated David Skoll, Roaring Penguin's president and chief technology officer. "N-able Technologies' N-Central software makes it easier for our solution provider partners to monitor what is going on with their appliances 24-7."
Roaring Penguin offers three anti-spam solutions that work at the mail server level and are available both as software and as appliances.
