MyFax said it has teamed up with a San Francisco-based company that works with non-profit organizations (NPOs) to provide its Internet fax service free or at a discount to qualifying groups.
Ottawa-based MyFax said yesterday it has entered into a partnership with TechSoup to provide 500 free one-year subscriptions for MyFax's service to environmental organizations, libraries and other qualifying organizations, with a discounted rate available to all other government-recognized non-profits.
"We are very committed to helping non-profit organizations operate more efficiently ... MyFax has always been a supporter of the good works being performed by non-profit organizations," stated Joseph Nour, CEO of MyFax provider Protus. "We also realize that in these challenging times, they need help more than ever. By partnering with a great organization like TechSoup, we are making it easier for NPOs to ... reduce their overhead and operate more efficiently."
MyFax allows customers to send and receive faxes electronically via their standard e-mail accounts or through a secure online server anywhere they can get an Internet connection. Users can preview and read inbound faxes on any Internet-enabled devices, and can also forward, store and print documents selectively.
