Support for PIKA Technologies' voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) solution has been included in the new version of Arizona-based Inphonite LLC's ReminderPro 2008 automated messaging system.
Ottawa-based PIKA, which makes development tools for telecom equipment manufacturers, said its VoIP technology will now allow Inphonite's customers to send automated voice messages over the Internet, and its analog and digital telephony cards can be used to configure options for the appointment reminder messaging technology.
"The ReminderPro software works great with our telephony cards and can provide small and medium-sized offices with a flexible, low-cost solution for automated messaging," stated Brett Sumpter, PIKA's regional account manager. "Additionally, our VoIP-enabling technology is used with ReminderPro to provide offices with even greater flexibility, scalability and potential cost savings."
