Sitebrand is one company that will benefit from the revamp of major clothing retailer Roots's website, as part of an end-to-end solution integrating several e-commerce technology systems.
The Gatineau-based company is providing Roots with the tools to present personalized web content to unique site visitors or segments based on attributes such as referring URLs, search engine keywords, buying history and connection speed, or if they are first-time visitors.
Plano, Texas-based PFSweb Inc. is integrating Sitebrand's interactive marketing software, along with offerings from Bazaarvoice and Coremetrics, with the DemandWare eCommerce Platform, to which Roots has migrated.
"This new solution offers us multiple upgrades from our previous site, powerful marketing and merchandising capabilites, and tremendous flexibility and control over our brand," stated James Connell, senior director of e-commerce, digital marketing and new media for Roots. "Most critical to Roots, it also allows us to better serve our online customers' needs and improve their overall shopping experience.
