BTI partners with South African reseller

BTI Systems is reaching out into the South African market through a new reseller partnership with telecom network solutions provider Powertech IST Telecom.
The Ottawa-based bandwidth-optimizing networking products maker said Powertech IST Telecom would be reselling the BTI 7000 Series Packet Optical Edge Platform. "Powertech IST Telecom has consistently demonstrated its dedication to the service provider community by offering tailored packages of technology and support to its customers," stated James Worrall, BTI Systems's vice-president of sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa markets. "Powertech IST's commitment to excellence is just one of the reasons BTI has chosen to work together as we expand our global business."
The partnership will allow Powertech IST to help service providers quickly expand the capacity of a single optic fibre up to 320 gigabits per second with BTI's product.
