OSI Geospatial Inc. has won a US$1.3-million follow-on order with the Royal Australian Navy.
"The Australian navy is an important customer and we are pleased to be expanding our relationship," said OSI Geospatial chief executive Ken Kirkpatrick in a statement. "Repeat business is evidence that we are providing value to our customers."
The mapping software company's international systems operations division is providing navigation systems and engineering services to the Australian Navy, bringing the total amount of business secured with that customer to more than $10 million.
OSI Geospatial has been working with the Australian navy since March 2005, and in October announced that it was providing six of its Electronic Chart Precise Integrated System submarine navigation software systems and a software upgrade for the Australian Navy's Collins-class submarines.
