Halogen Software's employee management solution has been chosen to upgrade a Milwaukee non-profit's talent management system for all of its employees and locations.

The Milwaukee Center for Independence (MCFI), a non-profit agency assisting children, adults and families with special needs, has switched over from a competing web-based employee performance management system to Ottawa-based Halogen's eAppraisal Healthcare.

MCFI currently serves more than 10,000 people, and the agency recently became affiliated with another non-profit, resulting in an expanded scope of services and the need to support a wider array of positions across multiple locations. The organization also is required to accurately measure its clinical and operational performance as part of its Joint Commission accreditation.

As well, as nearly 40 per cent of MCFI's employees are unionized, eAppraisal will help MCFI demonstrate consistent and fair employee performance appraisals to ensure equitable treatment of staff.
