After gaining a foothold in the Chinese market, C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. is now setting its sights on less distant shores, with the signing of a new long-term reseller agreement.

The mobile satellite antenna maker said it has signed a deal with U.K.-based satellite communications systems supplier OmniGlobe Networks EMEA, which will allow C-COM to sell its iNetVu products into Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the EMEA region).

"We are very pleased to be able to include OmniGlobe as one of our distributors in EMEA," said C-COM chief executive Leslie Klein in a statement. "Their reputation for delivering high-quality satellite-based communication solutions will make it possible to generate new sales for the iNetVu Mobile platforms."

OmniGlobe Networks has customers in more than 70 countries, and the company is currently talking to customers in the Middle East, North Africa and Western Africa for C-COM's iNetVu antennas as part of the new agreement.
