Kinaxis's manufacturing analysis system is being used by another locally headquartered manufacturing company, BreconRidge Corp., to manage customer demand.

BreconRidge is using Kinaxis's RapidResponse on-demand response management service with its SAP environment to analyze the impact of supply, demand and product changes to its operations and to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time even with the changes in place.

"RapidResponse helps ensure both operations performance and customer responsiveness as BreconRidge faces the daily challenges of operating in a volatile environment, addressing a broad range of customer requirements and managing multiple, geographically dispersed manufacturing sites," said Kinaxis vice-president of marketing Randy Littleson in a statement.

BreconRidge, which makes radio-frequency, microwave and optical technologies and applications for its customers, will feed live data from its SAP system into RapidResponse to simulate and share the impacts of various 'what-if' scenarios, ensuring that response times to changes are shortened and performance is efficiently managed to minimize costs.
