March Networks's newly acquired European business has won a deal with an international hospitality group to install its video surveillance products at a United Arab Emirates hotel.
Ottawa-based March Networks, which completed its acquisition of CIEFFE of Milan, Italy at the end of March, said its subsidiary's portfolio of interoperable encoders, standard resolution and megapixel cameras, video analytics and advanced video management software has been selected by the unnamed hospitality industry customer as the "backbone of its phased security deployment."
"We are extremely pleased to have been selected as the IP (Internet protocol-based) video management solution of choice for one of the world's leading luxury hospitality operators," said March Networks CEO Peter Strom in a statement. "The advanced functionality of our solution is perfectly suited to the high-performance security and surveillance requirements of commercial property managers. We look forward to building our position as a leading IP video management supplier throughout the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere in the Middle East."
The customer has ordered more than 160 IP cameras and integrated video management software for the initial implementation at the United Arab Emirates hotel.
