Once again the Ottawa Business Journal is looking for the region's 10 fastest growing private companies. This is a unique opportunity for the region's rising stars to be recognized for substantial, sustainable and profitable growth.
The deadline for submissions is now Monday, March 31.
We are seeking companies headquartered in the National Capital Region that can demonstrate revenue growth and positive cash flow over the past three years. It doesn't matter what industry they're in, or whether they're startups or seasoned players. Previous finalists are invited to toss their name into the running again.
Applicants are ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year fiscal period. To qualify, an applicant must:
have completed three fiscal years with financial statements that have been subject to a review engagement or formal audit to qualify.
In year one of this three-year period, the applicant must have had revenue of at least $100,000. In year three, revenues must have risen to at least $750,000. In all three years, the company must have been cash-flow positive.
Applications must be signed by a company officer and include the name and contact information for the company's third party auditor/accountant.
The OBJ will not publish or otherwise disclose specific financial information, only percentage increases in revenue. However, to ensure accuracy and veracity, we reserve the right to contact each company's third party auditor/accountant.
The companies that make the top-10 list will be announced and profiled in a special feature that will be published in the April 21 issue of the OBJ.
