Ottawa's business stars honoured at Chamber of Commerce gala

Supply chain management firm Cactus Commerce and Ward Griffin of printing services company The Lowe-Martin Group received top honours at Thursday night's Ottawa Business Achievement Awards gala.
Cactus Commerce took home the gold award in the Company of the Year category, while Mr. Griffin was named the Businessperson of the Year.
The awards, which were organized by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, also honoured theme park fibreglass water ride designer ProSlide Technology Inc. as Mid-market Business of the Year; training games maker DISTIL Interactive Ltd. as New Business of the Year; and photoreactor company Luzchem Research Inc. as Small Business of the Year. Legal services firm Augustine Bater Polowin LLP walked away with the top Professional Services of the Year award.
