For a cool $21.5 million, 473 Albert St. could be yours.
Rosont Investments Inc. has put up for sale the Trebla Building, which lies along the downtown portion of the Transitway between Bronson and Bay streets.
It has nearly 140,000 square feet in its 11 storeys of office space.
The building lies on the western edge of downtown Ottawa with easy access to the Portage and Chaudiere bridges to Gatineau and to the Ottawa airport.
The building, which was first erected in 1970 and whose name is "Albert" spelled backwards, has undergone a number of renovations since then, commercial real estate broker CB Richard Ellis Ltd. said, including its elevators, washrooms, life safety and HVAC systems.
"The property consists of office with two penthouse levels, a basement and a sub-basement," CBRE said in a statement. "The building was . . . renovated throughout the years with the latest renovation now being completed."
CBRE noted that the National Indian Brotherhood Inc., affiliated with the Assembly of First Nations, has a 10-year lease, and occupies some 50,000 square feet.
Its lease began September 2005.
